Nighttime Buddha Bowl

Hello. the last Buddha Bowl was so good I didn't want to wait before doing it again. So here's the first nighttime one. It'll be on Thursday March 2nd, 7:30pm, Hollywood. Location to be defined soon, but I want you to have this in your calendars.
The Great Singing Buddha Bowl....A whole bunch of rhythmic and chanting group games you participate in, each one drawing your focus into the sounds we are making, and building layers of voices and rhythm. Each one builds and builds, and as the layers accumulate, and the volume increases, it becomes this big, thrilling musical thing, beautiful and chaotic.
Previous reactions:
"leaves you feeling energized and connected"
"I'd say that for me, the best part was the connection with other people. When everyone's singing together and shuffling about, making eye contact, smiling, and just generally being *social* within the context of music making....that's fun."
"fun, different, cathartic"

hey i'm sorry this has nothing to do with your "Nighttime Buddha Bowl" snippet, but i would like to ask you something.I really like your them for Mean Girls, the 'New Queen Bee' one, and i was just wondering if there was any cd out there that has that song on it. I mean, i would really enjoy listening to that tune on the go, anywhere, not just on my computer. If there isn't any cd with that song out there, would there be any way downloading it to a cd?

That track is only available for download from the download page, but it should be simple to burn it to CD. If you get iTunes for PC or Mac you can use it to play the track, or burn a regular cd with the track on it.
Rolfe,
I do run a club in the basement of the Ramada on Vermont, where we do DJ's comedy and live music,(holds upwards of five hundred people) there is much space but no reverb, the rooms are long and tight in their sound. Wish I could help you to find a space for your Buddha bowl

I'm sorry, I thought you'd evaporated!
rolfe,
i apologize for being a techno nerd but....
in a pervious post you mentioned you were putting together your portable composing rig.
i was curious what program you were running and what libraries and VI's you use when writting.
and here's a weird question....
do you travel with reference monitors or is the sound not that important in the early writing stages?
(when i'm not in my studio and i'm using headsets with my laptop it just drives me a little crazy. )
i love the idea of having a portable rig but with decent play back, a midi keyboard, 2 computers and some way to watch the video it's still not the future yet is it? not exactly something you can call carry on luggage yet......
thanks

Mobile rig: I run Logic on the iMac (Pentium dual core), Gigastudio on a laptop PC with ADAT via RME interface. A MOTU Traveler audio interface for the Mac.
I do have my own monitors, a small pair of Yamaha self-powered speakers, they sound gorgeous with excellent bass. I couldn't work with headphones.
Libraries: a whole mix up of Roland, VSL, Sonic Implants, Garageband and various others.
Hi - this also has nothing to do with the Buddha Bowl. I'm working on a documentary for PBS with MacNeil/Lehrer Productions in Washington, DC. We're interested in using one of your songs from "Sideways" in the program. Please let me know how to contact you (or whom to contact) to discuss further. Thank you! You can reach me at lynne@lynnemcintyre.com
Hi Rolfe, We'd like to get ahold of 2 copies of your composer reel. Can you send us one or put us in contact with someone who can?
Thanks,
